HNMUN 2017 2nd Wave Selection is OFFICIALLY OPENED!!!

Good News future Unpad for HNMUN Future Delegates!

For those who cannot attend the First Wave selection, now we have opened for the SECOND WAVE SELECTION FOR HNMUN 2017!

Therefore as we mentioned in the previous posts, there will be Two Stages in each wave. The dates for SECOND WAVE STAGES can be seen as below :

1^st Stage : May, 28^th 2016

2^nd Stage : June 5^th 2016

Just like the previous wave, here are some important things that you have to noticed! 

The Topic for the 1st Stage of the Second Wave selection will be 

"Australia's Offshore Detention"

I. Required Documents

- CV

- Motivation Letter including your understanding of what HNMUN is (1 page max)

- Essay about a preselected topic that includes your own solution regarding the problem (2 page max)

- Photo 3x4 color*

Compile in one file (exclude photo), save in PDF format with the title“PreSelections_Name_Faculty_Batch”

e.g PreSelections_JessicaPriscillaSuri_Law_2014)

II. Submission Dates

Submit all the required documents before May 27th 2016 (23.59 WIB) to unpadhnmun2016@gmail.com with the subject “2ndWave_Name_Faculty”

IMPORTANT

• Please submit the entire required documents, right before the deadline. 
• Please bring the required documents in the brown envelope on the selection day. 
• Dates of selection day are fixed and final, we will not accept any conditions if the applicant can not come to the selection day.
• Check our previous post for more reference. (HNMUN only)

HNMUN 2017 IS OFFICIALLY RECRUITING FUTURE DELEGATES!

Future Delegates,

We are very pleasant to have you informed that it is now your turn to take part in “The 63^rd session of Harvard National Model United Nations” that will be held from 16^th to 19^th of February 2017 in Boston, MA, USA.

Our delegation team is open for all UNPAD students from any faculties.  All you need to do is submit the required documents exactly before the deadline, come to one of our selection days and bring the required documents along in a brown envelope.

Road to HNMUN 2017

Hello MUN Enthusiast!

through this post, we are excited to inform you a brief explanation about Harvard National Model United Nations (HNMUN) and there will also be testimonials from some of Universitas Padjadjaran Representatives for HNMUN 2016!

As we all already know, HNMUN is world's largest, oldest and most prestigious MUN. It was founded a decade after the United Nations created and annually, HNMUN is held in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. After 8 months of training, last February our university's delegation team take role in the 62nd Session of HNMUN. We were representing the Republic of Paraguay and was separated in 10 different committees (DISEC, SOCHUM, SPECPOL, Legal, WHO, Historical General Assembly, 1979, World Conference on Women, United Nations Human Rights Council, United Nations Environment Programme and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States. 

This May we will open up 2 waves of recruitment for all UNPAD students who are willing to feel the ambience of HNMUN 2017. There are a lot of things that you can learn here through the training and of course the Conference!
